LinkedIn marketing in the UAE works best for B2B companies when it runs on two tracks at once. Senior people at your company post their own expertise from their personal profiles. Targeted ads put specific offers in front of the job titles and companies you sell to. The company page supports both, but it is rarely the main source of results. If you can only start one thing this month, get one or two leaders posting useful, specific content every week.

Understand who you are actually selling to

B2B purchases in the UAE usually involve several people. A typical deal might need a technical evaluator, a finance approver, a procurement contact and a senior sponsor. Many of them are on LinkedIn, but they care about different things.

Before you plan content, list each role in a typical buying group and answer three questions for each:

  1. What problem keeps this person busy?
  2. What would make them doubt your company?
  3. What evidence would reassure them?

A hypothetical facilities management firm might find that operations managers care about response times and reporting, while finance directors care about contract terms and predictable costs. Those are two different content streams, and probably two different ad audiences.

Company page vs personal profiles

Company page Leadership and staff profiles
Main role Credibility check and reference point Reach, trust and conversations
Who sees it Mostly followers and people researching you The person's network, and their network's network
Best content Company news, hiring, service explainers, event recaps Opinions, lessons learned, how-to posts, industry commentary
Ads Ads run from the page Selected personal posts can often be promoted, depending on current platform options

The company page still needs to be complete: a clear tagline, a services section, the right industry and location, a link to a relevant page on your website, and recent activity. A prospect who checks your page and finds nothing posted in a year will notice.

What UAE B2B audiences engage with

Generic motivational posts and stock-image announcements rarely start a sales conversation. Content that tends to work for B2B is specific and earned:

  • Explaining how something works: a regulation, a process, a common technical decision. Keep it high level where rules change, and point readers to the official source.
  • Frameworks and checklists your team actually uses, shared as a document post or carousel.
  • Lessons from real work. Describe a situation and how you approached it. Don't name clients or share results without written permission.
  • Points of view on where your industry is heading in the region, backed by your reasoning rather than borrowed statistics.
  • Short videos of a team member explaining one idea clearly. A simple studio setup with good audio looks more credible than a phone recording in a noisy office.

A 90-day starting plan

Weeks 1 to 2: foundations

  • Update the company page and the profiles of the two to four people who will post. Use clear headlines, a relevant banner and a featured link.
  • Agree on topics each person owns, so the posts don't overlap.
  • Set up the Insight Tag (LinkedIn's website tracking code) or its current equivalent so you can measure website visits and build retargeting audiences.

Weeks 3 to 8: consistent publishing

  • Each leader posts once or twice a week. A marketing team member can interview them for 30 minutes and draft posts from the conversation, but the leader should edit and approve the final wording.
  • The company page reshares and adds its own explainers.
  • Leaders spend 15 minutes a day replying to comments and commenting on posts by people in their target accounts.

Weeks 9 to 12: add paid

  • Run ads to a tightly defined audience: job functions, seniority, company size and industry, limited to the UAE or the wider GCC as relevant.
  • Promote your best-performing organic posts first. They have already shown they work.
  • Test a lead generation form against a landing page. Our comparison of lead form ads and landing pages explains the trade-offs.

Connect LinkedIn to sales

LinkedIn activity that never reaches the sales team is wasted. Agree on a simple handover:

  • Who follows up on inbound messages and connection requests from target accounts?
  • How are form leads routed? If they sit in the ads platform for a week they go cold, so ideally they flow straight into your CRM.
  • What counts as a qualified lead, and how will marketing find out what happened to it?

If your forms don't yet feed a CRM, our guide to CRM integration for marketing shows how to close that gap.

Common mistakes

  • Posting only from the company page and wondering why reach is low.
  • Targeting too broadly with ads, which spends budget on people who will never buy.
  • Asking for a meeting in the first message. Connection requests followed by an instant sales pitch damage your reputation in a market where many people know each other.
  • Judging success by likes. Track profile visits from target accounts, conversations started and opportunities created.

Key takeaways

  • Map the buying group and create content for each role, not one generic audience.
  • Leaders' personal profiles do most of the reach work, and the company page backs them up.
  • Publish specific, useful content consistently for at least a quarter before judging it.
  • Add targeted ads once you know which messages resonate, and route leads straight to sales.
